Just 10 minutes drive from Exeter city centre, UPEC is a 43 acre equestrian centre surrounded by well managed, good quality grazing set in beautiful Devon countryside. We are a small, family run business with a relaxed but professional atmosphere. Full, part, DIY and holiday liveries are available for horses and ponies. Our facilities include 24 hour supervision, 2 large modern stable blocks, washroom, post and rail fencing, a horse walker, 90m x 30m manége, showjumps, a cross-country course and tuition. The manége, showjumps and cross-country course are also available for hire by individuals, groups or for competitions. You are welcome to bring your own instructor.

Additional facilities include a weekly vet clinic by a specialist equine vet and a fast rug cleaning and repair service. Other services offered include re-schooling, backing and breaking, sale preparation, AI management, assessment and advice.

Whatever your needs, and whatever level you are riding to, we are confident that we can offer you and your horse the very best care, support and facilities. Our aim is to help our clients enjoy their pastime whether it is a ride on the beach, unaffiliated or national competition.

Cheston Farm Equestrian Centre is located in the south of Dartmoor National Park, 14 miles east of Plymouth, two minutes north of the A38 and is also only 30 minutes from Torquay and 40 minutes from Exeter.

Cheston is one of the best equestrian facilities in the region. Beginner, novice to advanced/exam riders can receive excellent individual and group lessons by qualified, adult instructors on our horses and ponies. You can bring your own horse to enjoy private tuition or clinics with a range of instructors from BHSPT to BHSI or take part in competitions such as showing, dressage and show-jumping.

We have a competition standard 50 by 30 metre indoor arena, a 40 by 20 metre floodlit outdoor arena, rubber matted 5 bay horse walker, large stables and carefully managed turnout including  post and rail paddocks. Now add in some of the best moorland and lane hacking in the country all on the doorstep and you have an exceptional centre for the horse and rider!

Whether you are want to learn to ride in the riding school, train with some of the region’s best instructors on your own horse, compete at one of our events or keep your horse with us on full livery, we are now the obvious choice.

All our instructors are qualified and the school is not only British Horse Society Approved and a BHS Pony Club Centre, but a BHS Riding and Road Safety Test Centre with regular training dates available throughout the year.

Newhall Equestrian Centre is a Livery & Competition Yard based just outside the city of Exeter.

Owned and run by Jon and Kayte Oram-Evennett, Newhall has outstanding facilities and offers a first rate livery service.

Our excellent facilities include indoor and outdoor schools, horsewalker, XC field, full set of SJ, Newhall is a great place for both horse and rider to enjoy their sport.
