We are passionate about horses, their care and  helping our clients to achieve success. We work to the highest standards and constantly strive to improve and stretch ourselves.  

We are happy to help people take their first tentative moves into the horse world and to hold your hand whilst you take your first steps. Beginners will find a safe, secure and knowledgeable environment in which to learn to ride. Our horses are well schooled and patient.  

More advanced riders can hone their skills on our experienced advanced competition school masters.  

Ambitions is a family owned business that prides itself on being a quality riding centre for the whole family, we are licensed and insured to take riders from 4 years of age with no upper age limit!

Our aim is to provide fun and informative lessons for all ages and abilities, whatever your ambition. We have a great team of professional and passionate staff at Ambitions who work hard to deliver an individual riding experience in a friendly environment in private, shared or group lesson formats.

The Croft Equestrian Centre is ideally situated with easy accessibility to both the M4 and M3 motorways. The centre is located in beautiful Berkshire countryside which offers a variety of rides through farmland, woodland and bridleways.

In addition to the variety of hacking, The Croft has its own riding arenas both of which offer high quality lighting and sound systems. The surfaces are silica sand and rubber.

Indoor School:

International standard 65m x 26 m arena with viewing galleries upstairs and downstairs. High quality stereo sound provided by ceiling mounted speakers and high quality Halide and fluorescent lighting. Public facilities are provided on the ground floor. Ample hard core and gravel parking provided for lorries and trailers.

Outdoor Arena:

Measuring 55m x 35m with both white sodium and halogen outdoor lighting. Outdoor speaker systems for high quality stereo.

Lunge arena:

Measuring 20m x 15m with silica sand rubber surface

Full Livery: The Croft offers a full livery service only with excellent stabling and secure facilities. We are very happy to carry out special instructions for caring for your horse. We organise worming, vaccinations and call outs for vets, farriers, chiropractor and dentists.

Wokingham Equestrian Centre, run by Jo Wrighton, offers liveries support, flexibility, training, and a positive atmosphere in which to simply enjoy owning a horse. Our facilities cater for everyone from the hacking enthusiast to the ambitious competitor.

We have a superb 20 x 60m floodlit arena, with showjumps. Off road hacking, and turn out all year. You and your horse will be focused and relaxed. In addition, the yard is well managed by qualified staff. Although primarily DIY we offer a full care package if you need it, from occasional help to regular cover. Instruction for all levels is available at the centre.

We hold Unaffiliated Dressage Competitions from Spring to Autumn. There are regular training clinics throughout the year, and you may hire the school for your own use.

Welcome to Snowball Farm! We are a family run riding school and livery yard, that caters for all ages and levels of riding experience, from complete beginners to experienced competition riders.

We specialise in Riding Lessons and Livery Services. Located in Burnham Beeches in Berkshire, we are just a short distance from Maidenhead and Windsor – and only 30 mins from central London.

Our dedicated riding school is approved by the Association of British Riding Schools and the British Horse Society. We are able to teach almost anyone to ride.
